Friends and family will tell you that “Matthew is the most competent man they’ve ever met.”

Perhaps it is a result of growing up in a blue-collar family, but Matthew can do everything from repair boats and cars, to play guitar, speak brilliantly in front of crowds of people, develop software, and kitefish for sailfish.

Matthew is truly a self-made man and has lifted his family out of poverty. The product of a divorced household, Matthew became the first in his family to graduate from college. Matthew’s high test scores on the law school admission test got him admitted to Law School at the Univesity of Florida – the highest-ranked law school in the State and #22 nationally.

Matthew is a fierce and sharp courtroom advocate. After law school, Matthew worked for the largest – and busiest – trial law firm in the State where he honed his litigation skills. An entrepreneur at heart, Matthew started his own law firm in 2019 where he built a thriving litigation practice in Deerfield Beach, Florida. In 2023, Matthew merged his law firm with his best friend from College, Brian Dunmire, since “they talked about cases all the time anyway.”

Fairway Law Group is the brainchild of Matthew Waring and Brian Dunmire and both have poured their heart and soul into every piece of software, every system, and every process to develop the best, most responsive, and most successful family law firm in the State of Florida.

Matthew lives in Boca Raton, Florida. When he is not in Court, talking to clients, writing a book, or recording a podcast, he is in his boat fishing offshore.
